On the nose

This is probably the most universally known sign. To tell your team “That’s right!”, touch your nose with your finger and point to the guesser.

Sounds like

To tell your team that something sounds like what your acting, just tug on your earlobe a little bit. Gently now!

How many words?

It may help to tell your team how many words they are guessing. Count up the number of words in the movie title, then hold up that many fingers to your team.

How do you say “The”?

Remember that a lot of movie titles contain the word “The”. If your team is forgetting to say it, make up a sign. For example, patting the top of your head or holding up a fist.
